Happy Halloween!!

We had a really fun Halloween. We hope that you did too!

We had Monkey Boy, Mario and Jedi Master Plo Koon

I LOVE this picture!

He really is a monkey, so this costume is perfect for him.

Grant HATED the mustache! I made him look at himself in the mirror and take some pictures before I let him take it off. He cried the whole time it was on!

Collin loved scooping the pumpkin guts out. The other boys wouldn't touch them.

Miles has some mad carving skillz.

The left one is Scotty's design with a pumpkin top brain on it. I am the super creative one that did the ghost pumpkin. I know you're jealous of my talent.

I love those boys!!!

Heading out in the rain for trick or treating. A little rain wasn't going to stop them!

Checking out the loot.

Not too shabby!

Spooky lunch- too fun to eat!

I made Scotty a Halloween lunch to take to school this week.

He had a ham sandwich with cheese ghosts on top, cheese puffs, a spaghetti spider web with an olive spider and a jack-o-lantern apple.

When he got home the apple and one cheese ghost were still in the lunchbox. He told me that he really liked them and didn't want to eat them! I wonder what he was planning to do with them??

Collin's photo shoot

We had so much fun getting Collin's 18 month pictures done. They were taken by Keiauni Beagley and she was so good with him. He was shy at first and did his best to not look at her. She had lots of patience and let him warm up on his own time. Then after he warmed up he wouldn't sit still for more than 3 seconds! He's a challenging one to photograph and she did a great job and we got a lot of really cute shots.

He was eating leaves and we were yelling "Eew gross" to try to get him to smile. He thought that was funny and kept doing it over and over.

This is my favorite shot. I love that face!!

Because he is a daredevil there was an inevitable fall and tears. But it gave us this super cute picture!

Isn't he the cutest thing ever??

Check out Keiauni's blog, Sassafras Studio Photography, to see some more shots from our session.

Another Halloween video!

My kids love these videos. We watch them over and over and over so it's easier to post it on the blog then find the email. We're excited for Halloween!

Personalize funny videos and birthday eCards at JibJab!

We also did a Star Wars one. It's funny- and Miles says it sums up the movie pretty well!

Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

The theme for MTM this week is pumpkins. We went to my Grandpa's 82nd birthday party last night and they had a bunch of pumpkins from their garden for the kids to take home. The boys chose a tiny orange pumpkin and a white pumpkin. I've never seen white pumpkins before so we are excited to have a ghost pumpkin for Halloween. Tonight we will be picking our 2 pumpkins from our garden- so exciting!!

Here is what we came up with for lunch today:
A little bit of pumpkin pie (a new try for the boys- tolerated, but not well liked!), Cheez-Its because they are orange like a pumpkin, a pumpkin shaped piece of ham, yummy pumpkin bar that we made this morning, round bananas that look like a white pumpkin, and a pumpkin shaped PB&J sandwich. I also colored Scotty's milk orange. The apple tins kind of look like pumpkins too!

Collin is loving being a participant in Muffin Tin Monday!
